REECE SELECTIONS - KITCHEN / BATHROOM / ENSUITE

I thought i would show our Reece selections mainly because by the time we are are at the Internals stage in our build, i might have forgotten them by then! Wisdom Homes Inclusions Package is fantastic. They use quality suppliers such as Caroma, Posh and Kado. The reason why i chose to "upgrade" was because we wanted black matte finishes to all our fixtures, in keeping to the theme of the home. As mentioned in a previous post, if you wish to choose your own fixtures and range, you will need to source them online and provide your Consultant with the codes. I am so glad i read a blog that mentioned this, otherwise i would not have known that there was an option like this - perfect example of how research is key!

Before we even signed the Contract, i already did my online list based on the Reece website. I created a spreadsheet with the Item Names, Reece Codes and the RRP Price. Come Colours appointment day, my list was ready for my Consultant. She sends this off to the Estimating Team to price up and calculate. At this stage, you won't know what Wisdom Homes price-up will be so you just hope for the best that you get a generous credit/discount back! You really have to be mindful of this if you have a set budget or allowance as you can easily go for gold and choose the most expensive range (which is not hard to do!)

Also best to keep in mind and record on your spreadsheet is the quantity. You can easily forget and miss this. For example, note how many taps and sinks you need. The best way to do this is to categorise according to room, in that way you are less likely miss anything!

I chose the Mizu range in Drift design:

In my my head,  i am thinking about costs, quality, functionality and of course aesthetics. The Mizu range is very reasonably priced in my opinion. From memory, it is owned and created by a Japanese company. Overall, i think it will suit the look we are going for in the house. The black matte finish looks sleek in the Drift design range:

Franke Ancona is probably one of the popular choices when it comes to sinks! I would have loved for my budget to extend to the black granite sinks - extremely beautiful but we needed two (kitchen & butler's pantry). They retail between $1,000 - $2,000 (depending on single or double sink). Had i chosen the black sinks, it would have come to about $2,000 for both sinks - or even more! I needed to come down from the clouds so I ended up with the stainless steel Undermount sinks for both kitchen and butler's pantry and i am so glad i did this because in hindsight, the stainless steel will compliment the cooktop and microwave since everything in the kitchen seems to be black!

I "splurged" on this Milli matte black toilet roll holder that retails for just under $200. Normally, i am a little more practical than that but i really like it - who wouldn't?

The Posh Solus Freestanding Bathtub was a great inclusion in our Wisdom Homes Package that we definitely wanted to keep! I must say, a lot of project home builders range does not extend to luxury inclusions like this. I probably sound bias, but Wisdom Homes really have one of the best Inclusions in comparison to others we have seen:
