GYPROCK

Hallway
What a week! We had a private Building Inspector from Houspect come out last week for the Pre Linings Inspection. Only minor things were picked up and our SS sent us pics during the week of the the fixups. This week, our gyprock was completed. It was really exciting to see the walls up - we can finally get a feel of the space and it felt quite surreal ️ Now can we get some stairs?! This should be next on the list...

Leisure Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
This is our family leisure room and kitchen. Really love the open plan space. I was taken aback how bright it feels - gyprock really makes a difference. We are absolutely in awe how much difference high ceilings make! Definitely worth the $$ in my opinion. Glad we extended the leisure room to meet the end of alfresco roof because it meant we could upgrade to stacker doors instead of windows. It's not a big house by any means so the extension was necessary to maximise space and add that little bit more to the square footage 🧐

Home Office
Kitchen Dropped Ceiling
We added dropped ceilings to our kitchen. All Wisdom Homes display homes have this feature and it was always a wow factor every time we saw it - it's probably because they used timber panels (which we would love to do after handover) 😊 We upgraded the aircon outlet to a linear one which will go into the dropped ceiling

Hallway
We opted for square set ceilings - another on our must have list! 🤗 The opening on the left is the media room. Two cavity sliding doors will be installed there for movie nights 🎥 When the room is not in use, the doors will be kept open to let natural light in - so happy with the hallway/entrance, it feels bright and airy. I was worried it was going to feel dark and the width makes it feel extra spacious.

Coffered Ceiling (Entrance)
Wall Niche (Entrance)
Coffered ceilings and wall niches in entrances are a standard feature in most if not all of Wisdom Homes designs. I wasn't 100% sold on it at first, but boy it's growing on me!

Entrance
Big doors were definitely a must! We chose Cochranes Black by Quantum for our timber stain. The doors will be Hume XS24 with translucent glazing.
