SITE SCRAPE

Site scrape, cut and fill involves leveling and compacting of the soil to ensure a flat working area, where the slab will be laid. You will notice from the pic above that it has been filled at the front to raise the level slightly due to the slope on our land, Even though the slope is minimal, i like the idea of being higher than street level. Let's just make sure the teen doesn't get her future car "lowered" 😆

We've also noticed that many of the Wisdom Homes builds on our line of street have had good progress too! Most of them have slabs now and today when we visited, we saw one build with frames up - which was not there a few days ago! Still no sign of our two neighbours on either side. There have been no Council notifications thus far so i'm certain when our build is almost finished, our neighbours will probably just be starting their build, which is a little worrying from a noise point of view. I can just imagine living next to a construction site - won't be fun at all!
