The morning of our Presentation, I woke up with butterflies. Extremely excited and nervous all at the same time. From blogs I have read and from online forums I have followed, many have said to be extremely vigilant and to read every single item and make sure all the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted. Oh, and to expect errors. To my surprise, everything we had requested was included. We didn’t find any errors, just a correction on the Butler’s Pantry measurements. Which we were thrilled to hear could be changed after our Presentation! Our Tender Presenter was warm and made us comfortable straight away. A lot of small talk in the beginning and even a few laughs here and there! She covered a lot of the questions we wanted to ask and almost fell off her chair when she saw my “portfolio” of pictures and spreadsheets. She commented how “on top of it” I was. I told her I am sure I am not the only one with a folder and she just laughed!
We deleted the shower head that we originally added as an upgrade in the Tender because I intend to choose upgrades from the Mizu Drift Range from Reece instead. Apart from this and the Butler’s Pantry dimensions, this was the only changes that needed to be made.
The Tender Presentation is your chance to delete/add items as you wish. Now is the perfect opportunity to also ask questions if you are unclear about anything in the Contract.
Wisdom Homes shouted us lunch – the restaurant across the road. How cool is that! In that hour, she was able to take the floor plans upstairs to the Drafting Team to be amended. The Tender was also revised as per our requests. We came back and met with our Customer Service Representative (CSR) who went through all 113 pages of the Contract, going through every single item. It was finally good to meet her in person as we have only communicated via email and a phone call.

The next step was to hand over the debit card and pay the Tender Acceptance Fee. We are locked in.
